[[Minecraft Story Mode:Soren|Soren]] obtained the command block on a top of a mountain, discovering it amongst icy peaks.<ref>{{Tumblr|stirpicus|164454321391|If I recall correctly I believe Soren found the Command Block on top of a mountain while he was exploring some icy peaks.|August 21, 2017}}</ref> Using it, he and the [[Story Mode:Order of the Stone|Order of the Stone]] would become very dependent on it, securing a place in history by erasing the [[Story Mode:Ender Dragon|ender dragon]] from existence. Eventually, it would come into come into the possession of Ivor, who became obsessed with exposing his former friends' fraud. Using it, he would create a fortress for himself in the [[Far Lands]], and later attempted to use it to create the [[Story Mode:Wither Storm|wither storm]].

The command block is first known to be used by the Order of the Stone to zap the ender dragon out of existence. Although how the command block was used before is unknown, Soren made it clear that by the time the ender dragon fight happened, the team was already dependent on using it.
