The official release of ''Minecraft Legends'' came on April 18, 2023, and further updates have been released ever since, the most recent being {{v|legends}}.

Unlike the full release of other [[Minecraft (franchise)|''Minecraft'']] editions, the official full release of ''Minecraft Legends'' started at version 1.17, instead of the version 1.0.
