The '''Old Builders''' was the name given to a group of legendary architects in ''[[Minecraft: Story Mode]]''. While the name was hated by the Old Builders themselves, it was primarily used by people outside their group regardless of their preferences. The group consisted of [[Minecraft Story Mode:Hadrian|Hadrian]], [[Minecraft Story Mode:Mevia|Mevia]], [[Minecraft Story Mode:Otto|Otto]], [[Minecraft Story Mode:Harper|Harper]], and possibly formerly [[Minecraft Story Mode:Cassie Rose|Cassie Rose]].

==Story and lore==

The Old Builders became mythologized after the creation of the [[Minecraft Story Mode:Portal Network|Portal Network]]. After which, they established the [[Minecraft Story Mode:Builder Games|Builder Games]] in the Portal Network itself, where people were able to voluntarily compete against each other as [[Minecraft Story Mode:Competitors|Competitors]]. Sometime later, the power over the Competitors corrupted Hadrian and Mevia, the Builder Games were no longer voluntary; they forced the Competitors who lost the Games to mine for Quartz in the Nether until they could partake the Games again. It was well known among both the Competitors and the [[Minecraft Story Mode:Gladiators|Gladiators]] that they hated being called the Old Builders. Despite this dislike of the term, they, or just Harper, were not against using it in relation to themselves.

Besides the Builder Games, the Old Builders also made many remarkable objects including but not limited to the [[Minecraft Story Mode:Redstone Heart|Redstone Heart]], [[Minecraft Story Mode:Portal Atlas|Portal Atlas]], and many countless [[Minecraft Story Mode:Enchanted Flint and Steel|Portal Keys]] and [[Minecraft Story Mode:Eversource Crown|Eversource Crowns]].

Sometime after the extablishment of the Builder Games, Cassie Rose left them for unknown reasons. While it is not known whether she was an Old Builder, a Competitor, or a Gladiator, Hadrian and Mevia knew her and her White Pumpkin mask.
