=== Breaking ===

Froglights drop as an item when broken with any tool or by hand. Breaking speed is always the same; no specific tool can break a froglight faster.<ref>{{bug|MC-260862||Froglights do not have an assigned tool}}</ref>

*According to a ''Block of the Month'' article, froglights are organic substances since they’re live organisms that have been digested and then spat out by a frog, revealing that frogs don’t actually fully eat magma cubes, and only try to do so before spitting it out.<ref name=":0">https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/article/meet-frog</ref>
*One name which was considered for the pearlescent froglight during development was the "blanc froglight".<ref name=":0" />
*Pearlescent and verdant froglights have nearly exact opposite hues.
