It is an alternate [[dimension]] to {{AMCM|Earth}} where everything is made out of [[block]]s. == Geography == The Overworld closely resembles the Overworld in the original game, however certain liberties are taken. Several features such as [[tree]]s have noticeably more varied shapes, with an emphasis on making perfect cubes of varying sizes, with [[flower]]s being depicted as both cuboids and real species. Surrounding many of the [[biome]]s, the majority temperate, are [[mountains]], including volcanoes. Strewn about the land are several structures, much like in the game, as well as many new constructs unique to the film. Most prominent to the plot are the [[Earth Portal|Earth Portal]] and [[Movie:Village|village]], but small structures such as a dock, statues in the shape of [[Iron Golem|iron golem]] heads, and a ginormous [[frog]] have also been seen. == Biography == At some point in the past, [[Movie:Steve|Steve]] first entered and made his home in the Overworld after discovering and activating [[Earth Portal|a portal]] deep within the mines of Earth. After appearing in the middle of a plains biome, he would go on many adventures.
